This explains what personal data realtors.et handles and how, in line with Ethiopia's Personal Data Protection Proclamation No. 1321/2024.
Who decides what
Each agency decides what data about its staff and buyers goes into realtors.et; realtors.et processes it on the agency's behalf. For agency owners' own sign-up details, realtors.et is responsible.
What we hold
- Staff: name, phone, email, role, TIN and business licence (for withholding), check-in locations and times.
- Buyers: name, phone numbers, interests, payments and the documents an agency uploads, such as bank slips.
- Telegram: your Telegram user id when you link it, so the bot can reach you.
Location
Your location is read only when you tap check-in, to confirm you are at the site. It is not tracked in the background.
Where it is kept
On servers we run, with encrypted connections and nightly backups. We don't sell data and don't share it except with the services we need to run realtors.et (hosting, Telegram for messages, email delivery).
Your rights
You can ask your agency, or us, to see, correct or delete your data. Agencies can export their data at any time.
